As General Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running, safety, profit and loss, and conduct of our pubs.
Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth
Deliver Gross Profit more than 55%

Ensure wages to revenue (inc VAT, NI, and Pensions) is 27% or less each month.

Adhering to budgets, increasing profits and managing cash flow

Review monthly Profit and Loss with the management team.

Bar Operations
Keeping up to date with licensing legislation, liaising with the authorities and taking overall legal responsibility for the premises.

Pass monthly audits.

Follow and maintain all relevant Health and Safety procedures.

Produce a rolling 12 month plan covering all major events and activities by month and week.

Rhythm of the week for all staff produced.

All orders to be placed each Monday.

Attend or deputise Mon weekly meetings, and Fri review.

Secure and maintain 5* Food Rating standards.

People management & administration
Advocate for the Dorking Brewery brand, vision and culture.

Documented monthly 121s completed and uploaded to Breathe for all salaried staff.

Produce and maintain an induction plan for new starters covering and ensure compliance of; Brewery, Allergen training, Beer Training, Perfect Pour, Health and Safety.

Ensure accurate employee records are kept and stored on breathe HR.

Provide clear weekly communications to all team members detailing performance across sales and key activities.

Manage team members on the appropriate channels of communication (Slack) adding and removing starters and leavers.

Empower team members to take ownership of their roles and responsibilities

Positive approach to employees continued professional development and career progression.

Seek advice from HR on any employee relation (ER) issues
