Job Description Your key responsibilities as the General Manager are to: To manage a public facing café, staff dining restaurant, premium hospitality/events and vending operationTo manage the day-to-day relationship with the client, service partners and wider stakeholdersTo inspire the team to deliver an excellent, innovative food offerEnsure all legal H&S and company policies are up to date and completedTo complete all tasks to their time schedules including the monthly analysis of figures reported to the clientTo ensure all budgets are kept in line with the client’s requirementsWorking closely with the Executive chef to ensure a smooth running of kitchens and eventsManagement of site booking team on internal and external eventsTo compile the monthly accounts and client reportTo carry out all reasonable tasks expected by managementWorking Pattern: 40 hours (Mon-Fri) Skills and Experience Skills and ExperienceThe experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future General Manager include: B&I experience in a fixed price and cost-plus environmentGood at planning ahead and able to look at multiple options to form well-informed decisionPositive, polite and realisticMust be friendly, a great team player, excellent communicator, fun, enthusiastic and professional at all timesAble to prioritise and work under pressure.Financial acumen and computer literacy is a mustEnthusiasm for the industry, passion for food and understanding of the changing industry.Experience of dealing with and developing a client relationship that requires patience and confidenceExperience in writing monthly / quarterly client reviews.You will be a driven self-starter who will relish this challenge At Lexington, we strive to ensure that our colleagues feel appreciated & rewarded, which is why we offer generous rewards & benefits in exchange for your dedicated efforts.FREE On-Site Lunches: Enjoy complimentary lunches, saving you time & money while ensuring you stay nourished & energised throughout the day.Support Your Way of Life:Flexible Working: We offer full-time & part-time roles, with varying shift patterns across the business.
