General Manager High Volume Fresh Food Operation
Location: Penrith, Cumbria
Salary: £50,000-52,000 + 20% Bonus + Company Benefits
Our client, a highly regarded hospitality operator, is looking for a passionate, hands-on and experienced General Manage to manage their hugely popular, fresh food operation based in the Penrith area. For this role, we are looking for a hands-on, commercially minded business manager with proven experience of running a high-volume operation and a focus on amazing service, a great atmosphere, incredible food and a fantastic customer experience.

We are looking for a General Manager with real presence a true host who is vivacious and outgoing, someone who loves the industry, can lead a large team and provide the highest standards of food and service across a large operation with an outstanding reputation. The operation has a team of 40-50 and the successful candidate MUST have experience of managing and leading a large team with the support of a great leadership team.
What are we looking for:
Proven track record of working as a General Manager running a large, high-volume operation with an emphasis on fresh high-quality dishes and impeccable service.
Experience of managing a large team is a MUST (ideally 40 +). Strong front of house skills.
We are looking for someone who is brilliant with discerning customers & is committed to ensuring the highest levels of service, amazing food and a unique dining experience.
Strong back of house skills - fully P&L accountable with the ability to keep tight controls whilst driving sales and revenue forward.
Experience of running a busy high-volume operation with the ability to manage and motivate a team whilst working under pressure.
Organised with strong attention to detail.
Experience and commitment to provide the highest standards of customer service - touching tables & ensuring guests return time and time again.
The ability to train, motivate, inspire and develop a large team to provide the highest standards of service, to develop their knowledge, maximise business and the customer experience by upselling & recommending dishes and drinks.

Smart and well-presented with great communication skills and a professional attitude at all times.

Salary Package:
The salary package for this great role is up to £52,000 plus 20% bonus.
