General Manager Catering
* £50-55k annual salary
* Bonus
* Weekdays only, 40 hours
Our client, a global leader in Contract Catering, with a key focus on diversity, seeks a General Manager to lead a dynamic team at a flagship defence site, with multiple outlets.
As General Manager you will have responsibility for all aspects of multi-faceted catering operations. The role is focused on managing effective and lasting client relationships, in a commercial manner, while ensuring the delivery of key financial targets and exceptional service.
General Manager Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the management of a restaurant (200 rising to 1000 per day), grab and go and delivered catering
* Develop and maintain client relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Nurture talent within the team and support growth and mentoring to ensure improvements are implemented to maximise performance and customer satisfaction
* Management of the contractor's brand and image
* Provide a commercial approach to the contract, meeting targets and KPI's
* Manage labour costs above budget to client through policies in place
* Challenge and continually review labour structures and ratios
The successful General Manager, must be results-driven, with a proven track record in strong leadership and change management. Communication will be a strength, creating a team who work effectively for the business.
