The Prince of Peckham is looking for a talented General Manager with a passion for the community.
We opened in 2017 & our ethos was to give Peckham a place to meet, socialise and feel welcome. We are all about the community & seeing the response from people has been humbling.
We now want to be even better & are seeking a dynamic and switched-on general manager with a proven record of running events and club nights. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of running our unique community pub.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and lead the team with high energy and a hands-on approach.
Be a constant presence, engaging with both guests and staff.
Have an enthusiastic, warm, can-do, hands-on, and inspirational attitude.
Oversee daily operations of the pub.
Ensure exceptional guest experiences and maintain a world-class atmosphere.
Ensure the team is fully trained in all aspects of bar service.
Show excellent communication skills and the ability to work alongside the management team to develop ideas.
Staff recruitment and retention with effective management, motivation, and coaching of the team.
Managing the P&L.
Qualifications and Skills: At least five years general manager experience managing a high-volume venue.
A fun and engaging personality with a serious commitment to hospitality.
Strong leadership skills with a passion for learning and development.
Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with guests, staff, artists/djs and reporting to senior management.
Understanding of budgeting and GP levels.
Ambition to develop the venue.
