Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced General Manager to join our well established client. 
Duties: 

• Responsible for the day to day running and efficient manufacturing, assembly, stocking and quality of all component parts associated within the company’s portfolio of products. 


• Managing staff across all functions within production. 


• Oversee and create scheduled plans for the efficient running of all departments. 


• Assist the Production Director in every aspect of running the Manufacturing Division. 


• Ensure production targets and objectives are achieved, utilise internal stocking system for production planning / scheduling throughout all departments. 

Requirements: 

• A ‘hands on approach and can-do attitude’ is essential. 


• Good communications skills. 


• Experience of production planning, supply chain management, monitoring sales orders/stock, forecasting for future demand of new and existing products is required. 


• Proficient in Microsoft package including Excel and Outlook.


• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. 


• Understanding of the Injection moulding process and Mould tooling. 


• Good negotiation skills and an understanding of Lean Manufacturing.

Working hours: 40 hours per week – 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday. 
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
