We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join their team and drive operational efficiency across all departments. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone coming from a Production Manager looking to take a step up. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of all departments, including Office, Kitchen, Warehouse, High Care, and Technical. Ensure seamless coordination and communication between departments. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. Continuously evaluate operations to identify areas for enhancement. Efficiency Management: Create and maintain efficiency in all aspects of operations to ensure maximum productivity and cost-effectiveness. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor department managers and supervisors to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Promote professional development and training opportunities for team members. Quality Control: Ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety in accordance with regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control and supply chain management to ensure timely procurement and distribution of materials. Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and availability. Financial Oversight: Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality. Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Director on strategic initiatives to drive growth and expand market presence. Develop and implement long-term operational strategies. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a strong emphasis on food safety standards and practices. Stay updated on industry regulations and implement necessary changes. Customer Focus: Maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, addressing any operational issues that may arise. Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient and reliable operations. Qualifications: Proven experience in an operations management role within the food manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements. Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
