We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic General Science Teacher to join their team and inspire students across Key Stages 3,4 and 5 in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. This role begins April 2025.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
\n- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across KS3/KS4/KS5.
\n- Teach a broad range of topics within Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
\n- Encourage scientific curiosity and critical thinking through practical investigations and experiments.
\n- Use a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technology to enhance student learning.
\n- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
\n- Ensure a safe and well-managed laboratory environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
\n- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and improve the Science curriculum.
\n- Support extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, or school trips.

Ideal General Science Teacher:
\n- \nQualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Science at [KS3/KS4/KS5].
\n- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
\n- A passion for engaging and inspiring students in Science.
\n- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
\n- The ability to make Science accessible, exciting, and relevant to students of all abilities.
\n- Strong teamwork and communication skills, working effectively with colleagues and students as a General Science Teacher.
\n- A commitment to high expectations and raising student attainment.
