Teacher of Geography
to join a supportive school in Peterborough.
About the Role:
As a Teacher of Geography, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, inspiring students to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. You will foster students' curiosity about the planet, its people, and its environments, encouraging them to think critically about global issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Geography to students across Key Stages 3 to 5.
Plan and implement engaging and challenging lessons that cater to a wide range of learning styles.
Assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Geography curriculum.
Participate in extracurricular activities and field trips related to Geography.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Geography or a related subject.
Experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 to 5.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and examination requirements.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A passion for inspiring students and making Geography relevant to their everyday lives.
