As a Teacher of Geography, your role will include:


  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love for geography.
  • Teaching a range of topics, including physical and human geography, environmental issues, and global challenges.
  • Encouraging students to think critically about geographical issues and actively participate in discussions.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Creating an inclusive and dynamic classroom environment that motivates students to achieve their potential.


To be considered for the Geography Teacher role, you must:


  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification (such as QTLS or PGCE). Overseas-trained teachers are encouraged to apply.
  • Possess a degree in Geography or a related field.
  • Have experience teaching geography, though applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for geography education.
  • Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
