The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our Humanities Department on a temporary basis starting in January 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an early career teacher to make a positive impact on students' learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster a love of learning and curiosity about the world in your students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including departmental initiatives and extracurricular activities.
- Uphold the school’s high standards of teaching, learning, and behavior management.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography and the ability to inspire students.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
