Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum requirement for this position is a suitable qualification to teach Geography i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS

The School and Role

ABC Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic Geography Supply Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Moseley. This is a long-term supply role with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Inspire and motivate students to develop their geographical knowledge and understanding.
• Follow the school’s curriculum, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in school events, parents' evenings, and departmental meetings where required.

Requirements

The successful Geography Teacher will have;

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary school level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
• Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
