Geotechnical Engineer - LeedsExcellent opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to join an international multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy working on major infrastructure projects covering; civils, rail, geotechnics, structures, MEP, BIM and tunnelling projects starting on HS2Location: - Leeds Salary: - £40,000 - £45,000 basic
Role descriptionThe role is working directly for an innovative international engineering consultancy. As such, it requires an ambitious Geotechnical Engineer who will act as the interface between coordination, engineering support and technical advice for site queries. As the Geotechnical Engineer, you will resolve any unexpected site engineering issues through your knowledge and experience in persuading and influencing senior management.As the Design Interface for Geotechnical enquiries, you will coordinate design, and facilitate project coordination between design and delivery stakeholders in the office and on-site as required. The international multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy has demonstrable expertise across developing professionals on major projects.Working with the design team, you will be responsible for the following.Coordination of engineering assistance and technical guidance for site queries.You will resolve unexpected issues in the geotechnical aspects of a project, providing coordination throughout the processStrong organisational skills, clear methodologies and the ability to handle multiple workstreamsYou will be responsible for liaising with the design team and site teammaking all stakeholders aware of any issues that arise and coordinating lines of communication between all parties working in stage 5 live commissioning heavy civils major project live environment Qualifications:Degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical, Structures, Bridges, Tunnelling, and Construction related fieldsUnderstanding of the commissioning construction stage of major projectsPLEASE NOTEYou need to be living and eligible to work in the UK to be suitable for this position.If you are interested in this position, please feel free to apply through this link or contact Phil Crew via LinkedIn or call The Resolute Group on 01332 653 911.
