Car allowance up to $25kAbout Rockhampton Hospital: Rockhampton Hospital is a 305-bed facility, serving as the central referral hospital for Central Queensland. It offers a wide range of specialist medical services, including Geriatrics, Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, and General Surgery. The hospital also partners with the University of Queensland and Central Queensland University for medical training programs. The Role: As a Consultant (Senior Staff Specialist/Staff Specialist) in Geriatric Medicine, you will be integral in delivering high-quality care across various settings, including acute, sub-acute, community, outpatient, and perioperative services. You will manage complex patient pathways, provide consultation services, and contribute to an Orthogeriatric service. Key Responsibilities: Deliver compassionate, patient-centered geriatric care. Support safety and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in education, research, and training within the team. Lead complex discharge planning and consultation services across Central Queensland. This role offers a supportive and flexible work environment, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
