German Speaking Accounts Payable Analyst

Our client is seeking a German Speaking Accounts Payable Officer to join their expanding Transactional Finance Team (fully remote, working from home).This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress their finance career within a successful organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely posting and payment of invoices, among other responsibilities.This role is fully home based and requires excellent client and customer service skills, a strong academic record in Finance, and proven experience in an Accounts Payable role as well as the ability to speak fluent GermanOpportunity to progress your finance careerPart of an expanding Transactional Finance TeamRequires excellent client and customer service skillsAs a German speaking accounts payable officer, key duties will include:Processing all non-purchase order and purchase order invoices for payment Posting invoices / credit notes per business requests and ensuring they are coded correctly in the accounting systemPerforming other assigned Accounts Payable tasks of a routine nature under the direction of the Accounts Payable Team LeaderVendor master database maintenanceReconciliation, Payments and ControlsPre-disbursement controlsDirect Debit monitoringBalance sheet account reconciliationPreparation of monthly supplier statement reconciliationsMonitoring of month end activities for accounts payablePro-active management of supplier accounts and monitoring of ageingCommunicating and liaising with suppliers to resolve any invoicing, payment or other queriesMonitor AP email inbox / ticketing systemRelease of payment files, manual ad hoc paymentsOther ad-hoc tasks as requiredSupport to clients, vendorsCommunicating and liaising with suppliers to resolve any invoicing, payment or other queriesCooperation with other departmentsLiaising with the broader finance team and Team Leader to provide regular updated on daily/weekly and Monthly activitiesThe ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:Fluent in GermanAccounts payable/purchase or invoicing experienceProficient in excelStrong inter-personal skillsIn return you will receive a fully home based contract, competitive salary, flexible start and finish times and an attractive benefits packageClick on the link to apply if you would like to apply for this fully home based vacancyRobert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidatesJBRP1_UKTJ
