Location: Swale
Salary: £120 to £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start date: September 2024
Contract: Full-time, long-term

GSL Education is seeking a dynamic and passionate German Teacher for a distinguished school in Swale. The German Teacher role presents a fantastic opportunity to inspire and educate students in the German language, fostering a love for languages and cultures.

Key Responsibilities for German Teacher:


  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective German lessons to students of varying abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to actively participate and develop their language skills.
  • Assess, record, and report on the progress, development, and attainment of students.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student development and address individual learning needs.
  • Stay current with educational best practices and developments in language teaching.

German Teacher Requirements:


  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and relevant qualifications in German.
  • Experience teaching German at the secondary school level.
  • Ability to create well-structured and engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of each class.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Commitment to raising attainment and making a difference in the lives of young learners.
