Global Business Product Manager - Lincoln, based onsite - £80K-£85K + benefits and car
We have an exciting new role with a leading multinational based in Lincoln specialising in manufacturing engineering services on a global level.
The main objective of the Global Business Product Manager will be to drive product sales by using strong leadership, technical knowledge, and business acumen. This involves analysing market trends, understanding customer needs, assessing competitors, and creating effective product roadmaps and pricing strategies to boost revenue and margin growth in existing and newly created products.
The role will interface regularly with R&D, engineering, sales, supply chain, finance and operations to achieve optimum results and to position the company as the leading product provider in their field.
Core responsibilities will be to:
• Explore and open new markets to expand business opportunities.
• Develop product strategy and optimise the product portfolio, including planning and project prioritisation.
• Oversee the development of product roadmaps
• Manage product positioning in the marketplace, using pricing strategy .
• Own the pricing strategy throughout the product lifecycle.
• Responsible for the product line, driving the development and execution of the roadmap for ways to improve
Keep abreast of issues related to quality, delivery, and production.
• Anticipate and communicate any discrepancies and recommend corrective actions,
• Ownership of customer agreements, LTAs and materials.
• Ensuring sales pipeline is always active.
• Collaborating with Internal Sales and Business Develop Managers to meet their targets.
• Maintain and promote the organisations core values and behaviours.
The successful candidate:
• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA highly preferred.
• 7-10 years Commercial Product Management or equivalent experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Experience with a technical product line required with a B-to-B technical product line preferred.
• Proven experience rationalising a product line while growing top and bottom line preferred.
• Engage passionately with the product.
• Effectively communicate, network, and influence.
• Constructively challenge and influence and guide senior leaders and experts in the organization-
Direct experience owning and managing the P & L.
This role is based in Lincoln on site, 5 days a week. This is an excellent opportunity, with an established leading company, to grow your existing career as a Senior Product Manager.
