My client, a boutique investment manager, is looking to bring on board either a Lead Portfolio Manager or a team to manage a Global Emerging Market Equity fund.My client are looking to acquire/purchase a GEM equity franchise with transferable assets with a view of committing capital to the fund themselves.The ideal candidate / team will have sole responsibility in managing an emerging market equity fund in order to deliver superior returns.Main Responsibilities:Playing an essential role in the management of the Global Emerging Markets equity funds.Responsible for the coverage of specific regions/markets within emerging marketsDepending on experience, the successful candidate would be responsible for managing a Global Emerging Market FundHighlight investment opportunities through in-depth bottom-up analysisDevelop proprietary models and tools which enhance the team’s investment analysis capabilitiesContribute to the continuous development of the team’s investment processRequired Experience:Min of 10 years of proven experience in the investment industry as a GEM equity portfolio managerRequired Qualifications, Skills and KnowledgeA strong knowledge of Global emerging markets equitiesA strong understanding of macroeconomic dynamics and how they influence equity marketsA proven and positive track record in generating alpha using a disciplined investment processThe ability to model and analyse companies using a qualitative and quantitative approach is essentialThe ability to communicate in a clear, simple and consistent way with other team members is essentialFor a discreet and confidential conversation please feel free to contact me directly on email at ##### or on my direct line +353 1 697 8631
