Global Facade Director - Structural EngineeringLondon - Hybrid - Salary Negotiable £100k PlusTruly amazing opportunity for a Qualified Structural Engineering professional with an attitude of serving an extra mile for excellence and having excellent knowledge of sustainability practices, to come on board as the Global Facade Director, who is well conversant with Codes for Building designs.Job Purpose: To be responsible and involved in the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of work for all the scope & also meeting consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.To monitor Designs and manage timely deliverables and project management to help the Organization deliver projects to the Customers in time and Quality.Brief Description of Job: Core Responsibilities: Enforcing Business StrategiesDeveloping Company ObjectivesOverseeing Senior Management StaffCoordinating with department headsAttending MeetingsImproving Productivity LevelsMonitoring Budget and closely work with top management towards profitability.Design: Creating concepts & design briefs.Value additions in designSpecifications of the projects and decision makingJob Duties: Spearhead Façade designs, driving strategic growth and offering comprehensive services to the clients.Identify and develop talent within the team and establish new roles for proficient in-house delivery of design services.Lead the Façade design team, setting performance objectives and fostering personal growth.Provide high level value engineering led technical expertise when applying structural engineering principles, techniques and methods to the planning and design of building services projects.Expand services through strategic partnerships and collaboration with engineering teams.Innovate beyond conventional practices by harnessing software tools like Rhino, Grasshopper, etc., and automation for enhanced effectiveness.Contribute to business development, nurturing client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.Shape marketing materials and provide insights into bids, fee proposals, and delivery methodologies.Have wide-ranging technical expertise including knowledge of façade structural and thermal calculations, specifications and performance requirements, technical due diligence surveys, etc. Knowledge of FEA programs including non-linear/thermal analysis programs. Competencies: Strong knowledge of Façade designs. Strong knowledge of scheduling/planning and tracking of progress. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and writing skills. Educational Qualification:
Graduate degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or Building Design (Architectural) from Reputed College/University (Preference: Master’s degree from Reputed College/University)Software Knowledge:
ETABS, SAFE, STAADPRO, AutoCAD, Revit.
Working Hours:
Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm Work Experience:
