Summary Our team is looking for an ambitious and knowledgeable Global Group Account Director to join us in our London office to lead a global market initiative with an innovative travel client. In this role, you will provide business and strategic leadership of multiple account teams across different brand efforts, with a focus on operational excellence. The Global Group Account Director will lead these teams to drive client satisfaction, retention, and account growth. Our London office is the hub servicing European markets, and works in close collaboration with our Los Angeles hub, and clients and agency partners around the globe. This role presents the unique opportunity of working alongside the best talent within the entire Omnicom network. The Global Group Account Director will be responsible for driving the future vision, planning, and overseeing execution of all projects. In this role, you will serve as key leader to provide direction across global projects of different natures: brand, design, product launch, social, staff augmentation, etc. You will gain a deep understanding of the clients in their portfolio s business, challenges, goals, and SWOT, and foster relationships with senior levels on the client side in order to push their team outside of the box on driving innovation/strategy and operational efficiencies. The Global Group Account Director will be in charge of developing, negotiating and managing scopes of work, as well as support in leading new business proposals. The Work Lead and manage multiple client teams, ensuring a cohesive and strategic approach to all projects across different brands. Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, acting as the main point of contact and escalation for clients. Oversee the strategic development and execution of client projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet client objectives and company standards. Collaborate with creative, production, and finance teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Identify opportunities for new business and account growth, developing strategies to leverage these opportunities. Mentor and develop account team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Provide detailed reports and analysis on account status, initiatives, and strategic opportunities to senior management. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, especially in client engagements and project management. Work with key global partner agencies to ensure alignment on key initiatives. Responsible for holding recurring meetings with senior leadership on the client side focused on pushing their business forward, macro goals, and new opportunities to drive growth. Responsible for high client retention and growth. Ability to be a point of escalation on their accounts and effectively solve issues that arise, whether internally or with clients Must have a strong understanding of scope management inclusive of how to track and manage, escalate scope pacing issues. Responsible for financial management of client portfolio revenue, including updating relevant internal financial systems accurately and in a timely manner. Ability to scope projects and retainers within budget and on brief. Lead conversations with clients around SOW adjustments. Ability to lead, line-manage, motivate and inspire a team. Responsible for consistently assessing team/client fit, ensuring we have the right talent matched up to the right clients - based on expertise, communication/working styles. Ability to resolve any collaborative roadblocks between teams. Someone who loves to collaborate with different team members inside and outside the organization to get the job done. A strong verbal and written communicator, who can, over time, find the right balance of knowing when to over-communicate vs. when to keep things concise. Key qualifications Proven and extensive experience working on global brands. Experience managing complex campaigns and retainers. Experience with campaign content production, localisation and budget management. Experience leading, motivating, and coaching teams of 15+ people. Must have strong delegation skills with the ability to coordinate activities between multiple projects without directly managing them. Excellent project management skills, able to find the most efficient ways of working. You have superlative written and verbal skills as well as excellent presentation skills. You are self-motivated, proactive, and flexible with strong interpersonal skills. You are an enthusiastic leader who can motivate, inspire, and lead a team through ambitious situations. You keep integration and collaboration top of mind, making sure all parties are informed on either side. You are deeply organised and have rigorous attention to detail. What s in it for you?
