We are looking for someone energetic, driven and intelligent. You will be primarily responsible for looking after and managing Marine and Energy claims globally.Role Accountabilities Handling a portfolio of Global Marine, Energy and Liability Claims insurance and reinsurance claims within service level agreement times, operating with integrity and professionalism.Ability to multi-task, manage conflicting priorities and work well under pressure.Liaising with Insurers, Clients, Brokers, and other Insurance Experts daily.Working closely with internal teams, ensuring they are up-to-date and aware of developments Assisting the claims team with the preparation and analysis of Management InformationFlexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities and work.Processing settlements.Handling London Market Systems.Setting up new claims and managing/reviewing throughout the lifecycle.Managing a diary system.Building and maintaining the Company’s profile with Underwriters and key experts.Assisting the Chief Claims Officer in monitoring the performance of claims providers and reaching targeted deadlines.Meeting external parties if required to maintain relationships and discuss individual matters.Mandatory completion of company-prescribed learning and adherence to FCA rules.Compliance with all company procedures.Role Requirements At least 5 years experience specialising in Global Marine claims.Preferably working for a Lloyd’s Broker, but would consider an insurer, MGA or syndicate background.Being able to use ECF.Experience in handling international and UK claims.Skills and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multi-task, manage conflicting priorities and work well under pressure.Able to build trust by operating with integrity and professionalism.Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities and work.Professional approach with an outcome-focused and positive attitude.Mentoring ability to assist in the development and growth of the claims team.Self-motivated and enthusiastic.Team worker with the ability to work on own initiative.Solid data entry skills with the ability to identify numerical errors.Positive attitude.Excellent attention to detail.We are an equal-opportunity employer, and we are proud to share that 93% of our employees say they can be themselves at work.
