Job Title: Goods Inward Clerk
Location: Mendlesham
Salary: Starting from £11.44 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00
Are you detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards in a dynamic work environment? We are seeking a dedicated Goods Inward Clerk to join our team based in Mendlesham, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assign booking slots for inbound deliveries via email to maintain operational efficiency.
- Liaise with hauliers to schedule and confirm delivery timings.
- Use Excel to update spreadsheets and accurately track inventory and deliveries.
- Input booking details into the WMS to ensure records are up-to-date.
- Check deliveries in the warehouse to confirm they are complete and correct.
- Handle any delivery issues, including overages, shortages, and damages, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Create and maintain goods receipt notes in Excel for accurate records.
- Receive and process stock into the WMS to ensure it is properly logged.
- Label pallets in the warehouse for easy identification and efficient retrieval.

- A commitment to health and safety standards.
- Previous experience in a similar role (advantageous but not essential).
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, for record-keeping and inventory management.
