Governance ManagerWe have partnered with a London based Royal College to find someone to join as the Governance Manager, working closely with the CEO.Job Purpose: you will be managing all aspects of governance, internal audit, and business performance within the charity.This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and systems to ensure the organisation operates with integrity, compliance, and efficiency. The Manager will collaborate with key stakeholders, including the board, senior management, and external auditors, to strengthen the charity’s governance framework and enhance overall performance.Here is a breakdown of the key components of the role;Governance Oversight:Develop and maintain a robust governance framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.Provide guidance to the board and senior management on governance matters.Internal Audit:Plan, coordinate, and execute internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management.Produce comprehensive audit reports with findings and recommendations.Risk Management:Identify, assess, and manage risks to the charity, working to mitigate potential issues.Develop and implement risk management strategies.Compliance and Ethics:Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting charities, ensuring compliance.Promote a culture of ethics and integrity throughout the organization.Performance Measurement:Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the charity’s overall performance.Report regularly to senior management and the board on performance metrics.Team Leadership:Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance and support.Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvement within the unit and the broader organisation.Implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.For more information on the role, please contact ##### to arrange a confidential phone call.Cpl Health Talent is an equal opportunity employer.
