This is a great opportunity to join the largest pension fund in Northern Ireland as Governance Manager and assist in the development and maintenance of an effective risk management, assurance and control environment. The Role: as Governance Manager the key responsibility will be to develop, maintain and oversee a high quality corporate governance framework of policies, process and procedures. Responsibilities will include: Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Assurance Undertake the roles of Data Protection and Information Officer; Equality Officer and Complaints Officer Monitor, review and test NILGOCSs internal control framework. Lead, motivate, develop and manage the Governance Team. The Person: we are looking for someone who has excellent leadership skills, enjoys working as part of a team and has a positive and can-do attitude. You will need: A degree (at least 2:1) or equivalent third level qualification Two years experience of working in, and good knowledge of, two or more of the following environments: Governance Internal control/audit Risk Management Data Protection One years experience of the effective management, development and training of staff. Sound knowledge of the purpose and function of risk, audit and assurance processes.
