This consultancy provides a full range of Building Surveying services to clients and is currently experiencing a period of growth, The position is based in the Central Birmingham office, but the consultancy serves clients on a national level so UK wide travel will be required. Owning your own vehicle is essential.Benefits:Flexible start and finish timesDiscretionary working from home policy after completion of the six-month probationary period.25 working days holiday per yearNon-contributory staff health schemeLife insurance schemeRequirements:Relevant Construction Degree in Building Surveying & working towards final assessment with RICS or recently completed APC.Working knowledge of a range of building surveying services.Ability to work independently with a strong team spirit and a positive attitude to service delivery.Experience or understanding in delivering core building surveying services such as: -Contract Administration -Dilapidations-Party Wall-Landlord and Tenant-Defect Analysis and Rectification-Developing a Client’s Brief-Project delivery-JCT Contract Administration (Minor and IF)-Technical Compliance (Planning & Building Regulations)-Specification writing-Producing schedules of workAdditional Skills:Awareness of the Principal Designer roleDesign experience (using AutoCAD)Knowledge of NEC Contracts (Option C)Project Cost ControlThis is a genuine long term career opportunity where performance and dedication are rewarded.
