TML are partnered with a major regional, multi disciplinary property practice with offices around the South East in their search for a Graduate Commercial Surveyor to be based from their Surrey branch. Upon joining their small, yet fast growing commercial team of the business, you will work closely with the Directors of the business. You will work on varying caseloads from valuation, Agency, landlord and tenant work and asset management duties, giving you some excellent exposure to the fundamentals of property. This will put you in a brilliant position to pass your APC where my client holds and the leader of this division hold an incredibly strong pass rate. Therefore, our client requires someone ambitious, driven and that has a desire to develop quickly in their quest to become a chartered surveyor.



What are the main responsibilities?




  • Support the agency team in the acquisition and disposal of commercial properties, including preparing marketing materials, conducting inspections and liaising with clients and other professionals.

  • Assist in the valuation of commercial properties, including offices, retail spaces, and industrial units, for various purposes such as leasing, sale, purchase, and secured lending.

  • Assist in the management of commercial properties, including the preparation of service charge budgets and Licences and the negotiation of Lease Renewals and Rent Reviews.�

  • Assist in the obtaining of comparable evidence and maintenance of the property database.

  • Carry out inspections and surveys of commercial properties to assess their condition, value, and potential for development or change of use.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for clients, providing clear and concise information and recommendations.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and other professionals in the industry.

  • Actively work towards achieving RICS qualification, including completing required coursework and practical experience

  • Desire to work towards MRICS status

  • Be able to work out of their Dorking based, Surrey offices.
