THE ROLE:
- The design and costing of variations of our standard products to suit customer requirements.
- Liaison with suppliers and customers.
- The creation of manufacture and detail drawings.
- Overseeing alterations/modifications to existing products.
- The involvement in creating new, and the improvement of existing manufacturing processes.
- The design and project management of new products.
- Overseeing the testing of new products.
- Programming of CAM software (training will be given).
YOU:
- Good working knowledge and experience in Solidworks and/or Autocad
- A good working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel is required.
- Good knowledge of general engineering principles.
- Good communication skills are required, both verbal and written, together with the ability to produce accurate engineering/production drawings.
- Self-motivated - must be able self-manage and take control of workload.
