A specialist geology, mineral planning and quarry design consultancy based near Oxford are seeking an ambitious Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join their expanding team. With a range of services and projects to work on and a team of specialists to support you, his consultancy are fully equipped to help you develop your skills and progress in your career.

This Graduate Geotechnical Engineer position requires focussed work on a variety of projects. You'll be carrying out logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, factual and interpretive report writing, desktop studies, designing foundations, slope stability and retaining walls.

The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will be provided with:

The successful Graduate Geotechnical Engineer will:

  • Have a degree in geoscience, engineering geology, geotechnical or civil engineering or environmental engineering (or a similar/relevant subject).
  • Have experience as a geotechnical engineer/engineering geologist (preferred, but not essential).
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • Be commutable to the Oxford area.
  • Have a full right to work in the UK.
