Graduate Project Design Engineer

Carbon60 have an exciting opportunity with a rapidly expanding specialist water treatment company based in Cheddar, Somerset for a Graduate Project Design Engineer. The role involves supporting the project engineering team on site with mechanical designs critical for the industrial water treatment systems.

Job description:

• Project Design Engineer working full time on site at a brand-new water treatment facility in Cheddar, Somerset
• SolidWorks use for development of mechanical GA and 3D layout drawings
• AutoCAD or similar CAD software use for producing P&IDs, 2D plant layout schematics
• Supporting the project engineering team throughout the entire project life-cycle
• Working with industrial water treatment plant equipment including valves and pipework

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering (or other relevant engineering disciplines)
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks
• Proficient in CAD (preferably AutoCAD)
• Strong knowledge of Engineering Principles
• Understanding of process chemistry and fluid dynamics is desirable
• Excellent IT Skills
• Full valid UK Driving Licence
