Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.


• Support senior quantity surveyors in managing contracts and project finances.


• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.


• Help in the preparation of tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.


• Perform cost control and cost reporting during the construction phase.


• Assist in the negotiation of contracts and procurement of materials and services.


• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project success.


• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project costs and progress.

Requirements

• A recent graduate with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.


• Strong analytical and numerical skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.


• Must reside within one hour and 30 minutes' commute to Somerset.
