Position: Graduate/Trainee Quantity Surveyor/Estimator

Role Description
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the Contracts & Estimating team. The role is ideal for a forward-thinking individual who is willing to progress their career in construction quantity surveying, potentially having already started gaining or working towards a BTEC HNC or Degree level qualification in this field.
Responsibilities include training and assisting with:
- Estimating architectural metalwork, secondary steelwork, and structural steel.
- Reading architects and engineers' drawings.
- Material take-offs and tender summaries.
- Obtaining supplier quotations and negotiating.
- Preparing and drafting detailed quotations.
- Liaising with clients to discuss tender submissions.
- Quantifying material take-offs and producing cost analysis for client approvals.
- Monthly job costing forecasts and analysis.
- Attending client meetings and occasional site visits with the Contracts lead.
- Working with other departments.
