Graduate/Trainee Quantity Surveyor Location: Colchester, Essex Salary: �22,000 - �27,000

The contractor has a diverse and interesting portfolio of project types, including Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Education, and Leisure.

Performance Objectives

• Training will be provided, with the opportunity to become a key member of a successful, collaborative team.
• Prepare, negotiate, and agree on final accounts.
• Procure sub-contract and material packages.
• Prepare cost budgets and prices for contract variations.
• Prepare monthly reports for management.
• Control and monitor expenditure against budget.

Person Specification

• The successful candidate needs to be personable, dedicated, and ambitious, with a positive and can-do attitude.
• Full driving licence.
• Ability to form strong working relationships.
• Good IT and communication skills.
• Able to work to tight deadlines under pressure.
