Job Title: Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Location: London

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 (plus travel expenses)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and well known specialist Main Contractor. You would join their dynamic commercial team working on an exciting, high-profile project in the heart of London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to kick-start their career in the construction industry, working alongside experienced professionals on a prestigious £70m Grade 2 listed high-end residential project.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Graduate Quantity Surveyor would be supporting the commercial team, including the Commercial Lead, Senior Quantity Surveyor, and Project Quantity Surveyor


• Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports


• Helping to monitor and manage project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets


• Reviewing tender documents and contract administration


• Supporting with procurement processes and subcontractor management


• Assisting with project cost forecasting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle


• Learning and developing skills in contract law, risk management, and project delivery

Ideal Candidate:

• A recent graduate with a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field


• A genuine enthusiasm for the construction industry and a keen interest in high-end residential projects


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• Proactive, with the ability to learn quickly and contribute to the project team


• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
