Our client, a multi-disciplinary property consultancy with six offices across Surrey, is seeking an ambitious Assistant
Rural Surveyor
to join their Rural and Agricultural Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an APC candidate to gain diverse experience in the rural property sector while working towards RICS membership.
Position Overview
As an
Assistant Rural Surveyor
, you will provide professional advice and services to clients on rural property matters, including valuations, land sales, utilities, grant schemes and land use. You will gain extensive on-the-ground training to support your APC journey.
Responsibilities
Assist in valuing rural and agricultural properties
Support the sale and marketing of agricultural assets
Advise clients on rural property matters
Assist in managing rural properties
Advise on rural planning and development matters
Guide landowners on compulsory purchase and utility projects
Handle rural grant applications and emerging schemes
Requirements
Actively working towards APC and RICS membership
Relevant professional experience in rural property
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Proactive and collaborative team player
Commitment to ongoing professional development
Proficiency in MS Office and property databases
