Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant

Are you a recent graduate passionate about working with students with additional needs? Do you have an interest or experience in supporting students with Learning Difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional or Mental Health (SEMH) needs, or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)? What We're Looking For:

  • Patience & Understanding: A compassionate approach to supporting students with additional needs.

  • Passion for SEND: An expressed interest in working with SEND students.

  • DBS Check: Existing DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.

  • Experience: Prior experience with children or adults with SEND is advantageous, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Support: Assist and support the development and learning of students within the school.

  • 1:1 & General Support: Provide personalised and general assistance to students based on daily requirements.

  • Collaborative Environment: Work alongside other teaching and support staff to maintain a safe and productive environment.

  • Uphold Policies: Ensure school policies, including behaviour policies, are upheld.
