Salary: £75 - £110 per day

GSL Education are looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Hexham. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in education while making a real difference in the lives of primary school students.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant ,you will be a key part of the primary school team, supporting students to reach their full potential. You will gain valuable experience in a primary school setting, preparing you for a future career in teaching or education.

Responsibilities as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (Primary):

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Work one-to-one or in small groups with children to help them with their learning.
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
• Help plan and organise classroom activities and resources.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.

To be a successful Graduate Teaching Assistant (Primary), you need:

• A degree in any subject.
• A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their learning.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Some experience working with children, either paid or voluntary, is desirable.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
