You will br be provided with great exposure to the challenges of maintaining and improving br our portfolio of hydro and pumped storage power stations. All the while we will br support you in gaining the knowledge and skills you need to achieve chartership br with the IET and succeed in your role. /p p The br programme will see you work on our historical power stations, there is plenty br of maintenance and engineering challenges that come with old sites but there br are also some exciting new ones, where we look at new technologies and br solutions to keep these power stations providing the flexible, low carbon power br the grid needs. br Sounds br pretty good so far, right? Here is what we are looking for. /p p strong What br we’re looking for /strong /p p We br are looking for passionate graduates with a flair for engineering. You will br need to possess a BEng or MEng in Electrical/Control & Instrumentation br Engineering (or related) degree obtained through an IMechE accredited course, br coupled with a desire to learn. /p p You’ll br need to have great analytical and problem-solving skills along with good br communication skills and a proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork. /p p So, br if this sounds like you then why not kick start your career in Engineering with br us? /p p strong About br Drax /strong br br We br are one of the largest energy generators in the UK, with our Hydro sites in br Scotland and main site in North Yorkshire covering 13 square miles.
