This role will suit a candidate with grant management experience (particularly with Innovate UK) coupled with strong written and presentation skills - translating technical information into easy to understand information.

Grants Manager responsibilities

  • Keep track of grant-funded project deliverables, milestones and budgets in collaboration with the project leads, finance team and external collaborators.
  • Prepare quarterly reports for primarily Innovate UK-funded projects.

  • Once opportunities are approved, manage the grant application process by working with technical and commercial leads and grant-writing consultants to complete applications to a high standard.
  • Represent the company at external grant funding body events, often in partnership with our technical team.

  • Current knowledge of major grant funding bodies - particularly Innovate UK.
  • Experience in managing science-related grant-funded projects, according to defined plans.
