Graphic Designer

Permanent Graphic Designer required for Lisburn. My client specialise in designing and delivering high-impact point-of-sale (POS) displays and packaging solutions. They are looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join their team, with a focus on creating innovative designs for printing and for cardboard-based products such as free-standing display units (FSDUs), promotional packaging, and other marketing displays. Duties will include: Design and develop visually striking graphics for cardboard display units, including FSDUs, POS (point-of-sale) displays, and packaging. Collaborate closely with the production and marketing teams to ensure designs meet technical specifications and brand guidelines. Prepare detailed design mock-ups and 3D renders of cardboard displays for client presentations and internal reviews. Use industry software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD programs) to create production-ready artwork. Keep up with current design trends and incorporate innovative concepts into new designs. Work with printers and manufacturers to ensure that designs are executed perfectly during the production process. Make adjustments and revisions based on feedback from clients or internal teams. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Essential Criteria: Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. Proficiency in design software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and 3D design tools like Cinema 4D, SketchUp, or similar. Strong understanding of print production processes and how to prepare designs for manufacturing. Experience working with packaging and display materials, particularly cardboard. Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Access to a car due to client location. Desirable Criteria: Experience in graphic design, specifically for cardboard software such as FSDUs or packaging. Knowledge of structural design for cardboard units and experience with CAD software for packaging design. Previous experience working with retail clients or brands on point-of-sale displays.
