SummaryA leading global Solar PV and BESS developer, owner and operator are seeking a Grid Connections Manager for their growing UK team. This is a home based role. You will be responsible for leading on grid negotiations for the business.This is a non-technical role. The company are seeking a skilled networker and negotiator with a proven track record working for / liaising with key players in the UK grid space including DNOs, TSOs, Consultancies, Regulators etcThe RoleYour role will be to support on securing new renewable energy grid connections from inception including in areas where the transmission and (where applicable) distribution networks are not saturatedThis will include the project management of grid connection projects, liaising with technical and regulatory teams and the negotiation of grid connection contracts with DNOs, TSOsRequirementsYou will need extensive UK experience in generating renewable energy grid connectionsExperience working for or with UK DNOs, TSOs and/ or regulatorsStrong working knowledge of UK grid codesEligibility to live and work in the UK
