Summary
In a brand new role, a leading global solar PV & BESS developer, owner and operator are seeking a Grid Connection Manager for their growing UK team.
This company have a huge UK pipeline at various stages of development, with over 1GW of UK projects consented.
The role is hybrid based where you'll be required to work from the company's London office three times a week.
The Role
Your role will be to lead on securing new renewable energy grid connections
Carry out a grid-led approach to site identification with a view to identifying available capacity, points of connection and optimising grid connection solutions for renewable energy projects.
Assess early-stage solar PV / BESS project opportunities through feasibility studies, liaising with network operators and working with third party consultants,.
Create and manage DNO and TNO grid connection applications, offers and agreements.
You will need extensive UK experience in generating renewable energy grid connections
