Grinder

Grinder – Chertsey, Surrey – Up to 35k

I am working with a world leading manufacturing company based near Chertsey. This company is now looking for a Grinder to join their engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cylindrical and surface grinding of high precision components.

Responsibilities:

-  Operate Myford Cylindrical Grinders, perform precise cylindrical grinding, and fit/dress grinding wheels.

- Utilise MRP system for attendance tracking and work order management.

- Maintain high housekeeping standards, support team tasks, and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

- Abrasive Wheel qualification

- Experienced in precision grinding to tight limits (+/- microns) and skilled in using hand tools, measuring equipment, and understanding fits and tolerances.

-  Proficient in working according to drawings, procedures, standards, and specifications.
