Salary:��170 per day

Working Hours:�Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Digger Driver to join our team for a project duration of 6 to 12 months. The successful candidate will have experience in various types of groundworks including drainage, footings, concreting, roadways, and footpaths. The position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within the Hertford area.

Responsibilities

• Operate diggers and other heavy machinery to perform excavation tasks.


• Execute drainage systems, including the installation and maintenance of pipes.


• Work on footings and foundations for buildings and other structures.


• Perform concreting tasks, ensuring proper mixing, pouring, and finishing.


• Construct and maintain roadways and footpaths.


• Carry out general groundworks as required by the project.


• Follow project plans and blueprints, adhering to safety regulations and quality standards.

Requirements

• Valid and up-to-date CPCS or NPORS tickets for digger operation.


• Proven experience in drainage, footings, concreting, roadways, footpaths, and general groundworks.


• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.


• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within a 1.5-hour radius from Hertford.


• Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.


• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
