Group Accountant

Working on ad-hoc financial reporting tasks/projects as assigned Preparation of the Board Pack, working with the FP&A team to prepare the budgeting pack. Assistance in the preparation of the year end Annual Report Liaising with and advising subsidiaries on financial reporting matters, as well as others at a Group level. Contribute to the monthly Group Operating Report (management accounts) to meet Board requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group standards. Production of reports as required, including information for financial control purposes and for Treasury, Tax and M&A departments. Responsible for updating consolidation adjustment journals and control intercompany eliminations and seek explanations for variances. Contribute to the half and full year consolidated accounts ensuring compliance with group accounting policies, statutory requirements and IFRS. Reviewing and analysing submissions from businesses, partnering with the relevant finance teams to examine unexpected items. Preparation of statutory accounts for UK subsidiaries mainly under FRS 101. Assisting with external auditors in their audit budgeting Working on ad-hoc financial reporting tasks/projects as assigned Global Accounting Network are currently partnering with a sustainable technology company to source a Group Accountant.
