Group Accountant

Title : Group Accountant Location : London, hybrid options offered Salary : £60,000 - £65,000 + bonus and benefits Our client, a multinational energy group head-quartered in London, is seeking a technically adept, audit trained Group/Financial Accountant to join their finance team in London. Responsibilities Involvement in group consolidation process and the production of quarterly and annual statutory accounts under IFRS Preparation of parts of the quarterly management report and providing commentaries to management. Assisting with group budgeting and forecasting Preparation of additional supporting schedules for reviews and providing explanations and analysis as required to support key stakeholders. Maintenance and quarterly uploading of the Company s lease, depreciation, deferred charges, interest accruals and other accounting schedules as required. Researching technical accounting issues and preparation of file notes and accounting memos for non-routine commercial transactions. (depending on experience) Role Requirements The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with at least 3 years experience in an accounting function External audit experience is highly desirable for this role Ability to work on own initiative or as a part of a team Ability to meet deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
