Group Accountant

The Firm:
Market leading PLC in the service industry with a focus on sustainability, diversity and wellbeing.
The Role:
Preparation of Statutory Accounts & tax computations for all subsidiary companies and associated liaison with auditors
In-depth review, analysis and reporting of the financial performance and metrics of the Group, including variance analysis and KPI analysis, to support strategic decision-making
Involvement in a variety of ad hoc projects including assistance with potential acquisitions
Where necessary, producing, implementing and updating Financial control policies and procedures
The candidate:
ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
Experience of statutory reporting
Strong understanding of current IFRS and FRS101 accounting standards, together with the ability to understand, resolve and discuss technical accounting issues
Previous exposure to Corporation Tax
