FB Recruitment Services is working with a Global Manufacturing company located in Sheffield to find a Group Financial Accountant.



In this role, you will play a key part in delivering consolidated financial and management accounts, collaborating proactively with the broader Group Finance team to foster an integrated approach.



You will be responsible for the head office companies, providing the CFO, Group FC, and the wider finance team with reliable and timely consolidation reports and insights while working closely with various internal stakeholders to produce management accounts.



Your responsibilities will include overseeing the accounting for head office companies and actively supporting operating companies in all aspects of accounting and reporting. Additionally, you will contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of reporting processes.



Job Responsibilities:




  • Manage and review the group’s weekly cash flow forecasting process.

  • Handle multi-currency treasury management.

  • Assist in the preparation of Group statutory accounts (IFRS) and UK subsidiary accounts (FRS 101).

  • Ensure completion of the group statutory financial audit in line with deadlines.

  • Support the timely and accurate production, consolidation, and review of the monthly Group management accounts and reports.

  • Drive improvements in the group reporting process.

  • Prepare monthly management accounts.

  • Oversee the Treasury function.

  • Take ownership of the Group's weekly cash flow forecasting process.

  • Assist the CFO with Group financial planning and ad-hoc projects.

  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process.



Candidate Profile:




  • You should be able to summarize and present complex information clearly and confidently, with a strong attention to detail.

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA) with a solid technical background.

  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.

  • Excellent communication skills to present financial information effectively.

  • A collaborative team player capable of building and nurturing strong relationships.



Newly Qualified ACA: Salary up to £50,000.
