Group Finance Director

A service organisation based in central Bristol (offering hybrid working) is currently recruiting a Group Finance Director to join their team.

Duties will include:

• To provide strategic and financial input on planned future activities of the Group


• Raising of finance and resulting compliance reporting


• Initiatives to improve profitability and legitimately minimise tax liability


• Lead and develop the finance team (currently 10)


• Preparation of forecasts for Group, monitoring actual financial performance vs forecasts


• Responsible for UK and European internal financial reporting and regulatory compliance


• To ensure effective internal controls and risk management are maintained

The successful candidate will have previous experience operating at Board level and have a proven track record of leading teams and providing effective accurate, timely financial information both historic and future.� A professional accountancy qualification is also essential.
