A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Group Finance Manager to join a fast-growing Technology company based in Central London. This role offers excellent hybrid working options and outstanding career progression.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the statutory reporting for the Group, including the group consolidation, drafting of the statutory accounts and be a key contact for queries with the external auditors
- Responsible for maintaining the group reporting structure, including preparing consolidation accounting for acquisitions, disposals, and group restructuring
- Contribute to the ongoing process of improving the quality of key information to internal and external stakeholders
- A key internal advisor, involved in scoping the implementation and then ongoing maintenance of accounting systems as relates to statutory reporting.
- Preparation of technical accounting papers for Board, Audit Committee or auditors as required
- Technical lead on accounting projects to include M&A, debt instruments, hedging, employee and third-party equity transactions amongst other items.
- Supporting the VP Finance with the development and then maintenance of the Internal Controls Framework.
- Supporting the VP Finance with the development of a basic Treasury framework.
- Ad hoc project work may arise from time-to-time in a fast-growing, highly acquisitive business.
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Previous experience of leading a group's external year end reporting process.
- Experience working for or with private equity invested companies or multinational listed companies.
- Strong technical skills with experience
- Strong technical proficiency in FRS102 and related and IFRS
- Highly resourceful with a willingness to get involved and roll-up sleeves to get a job done.
