As the company continues to grow, it is seeking a talented Group Financial Accountant to join its team. Job Description: The company is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Group Financial Accountant to oversee and manage its financial operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial reporting, as well as supporting strategic decision-making processes. Duties & Responsibilities: Support the production of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Develop the group-level balance sheet reconciliations, including but not limited to external borrowings, and ensure their accuracy and completeness. Assist in the production of the monthly Group consolidation, working closely with other finance team members to gather and validate financial information. Contribute to various ad hoc financial reporting projects as and when required, providing support and analysis to facilitate decision-making processes. Support the management of the annual audit process, including preparing audit schedules, liaising with auditors, and addressing audit queries. Implement and maintain effective internal controls and procedures to safeguard financial data and ensure data integrity. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting processes. Candidate Requirements: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and appreciation of general accounting Experience in group accounting function Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial reporting systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment If you are a dedicated and ambitious finance professional looking to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
